Collection: Amazonite

Amazonite is a variety of microcline, a potassium aluminum silicate mineral and belongs to the Feldspar family, one of the most common groups of minerals in the Earth's crust. Amazonite is characterized by its green to blue-green color, which is caused by trace amounts of lead and water content within the crystal structure.

It typically occurs in pegmatites, which are coarse-grained granite formations, often in association with minerals such as quartz, mica, and feldspar.

Its name derives from the Amazon River in Brazil, where there are important Amazonite deposits. It is also found in Russia, United States (notably in Colorado), Madagascar, and India.

Energetically, Amazonite is a calming stone that helps balance emotions, reduce stress, and alleviate fear. It enhances self-expression, promotes honest communication, and harmonizes the heart and throat chakras. Known for its ability to balance masculine and feminine energies, it supports inner peace and emotional healing. Amazonite also provides protection against negative energies and harmful electromagnetic fields. It is a powerful stone for spiritual growth, intuition, and meditation.
