Collection: Cavansite

Cavansite is a hydrous calcium vanadium oxide silicate with a hardness of 3 to 4. It occurs as prismatic or tabular crystals in rosettes, sometimes in association with other minerals such as Heulandite, Stilbite, Calcite or Apophyllite. Pentagonite, is its sister mineral with slightly different color and formation.

Cavansite's color ranges from deep blue to bluis-green. In these specimens, you can see intense blue Cavansites in the form of rosettes or blades on shiny matrix made up of tiny Heulandite crystals.

Energetically, Cavansite is a stone of inner truth. Its energy helps us to access our soul's information stored in the Akashic Records. It activates and stimulates the 5th, 6th and 7th chakras. It unites the energies of the throat and the third eye, facilitating clear insight and articulate communication of what has been seen and understood. It is a wind element stone, its energy helps us reach a place of great stillness in meditation.

The finest specimens are from its famous location in Wagholi, Pune. These have become extremely rare in recent times due to reduction in active mines.
