Collection: Hematite Phantom Quartz

These phantoms form when iron-rich fluids infiltrate the crystal as it grows. The Hematite- Fe₂O₃ (or in same cases also Goethite) gets deposited in fine layers or dendritic patterns, forming ghost-like outlines of earlier crystal faces inside the main Quartz. The growth then continues, encasing these earlier stages and giving rise to what's called a Phantom Quartz.

In Deverkonda, the surrounding geological setting (rich in basaltic and iron-bearing rock) likely contributes to the iron content necessary for these inclusions. The crystals are often clustered or tones due to natural irradiation.

Collectors call them “Sunset Quartz” for their burnt-orange to coppery tones that resemble a setting sun trapped inside stone.

Energetically, these phantoms combine the grounding and protective energy of Hematite with the amplifying and clarifying properties of Quartz, creating a powerful stone for inner strength and transformation. The phabtoms symbolize growth, reminding us of past lessons and the evolution of the soul. This stone supports focus, courage, and emotional resilience, helping integrate past experiences with present awareness.
