Collection: Opal

Opal is a mineraloid composed of hydrated silica, formed when silica-rich water deposits microscopic layers within rock cavities and fractures. Unlike crystalline minerals such as Quartz, Opal lacks an ordered internal structure. Common Opal is typically opaque to translucent and does not display play-of-color, while Fire Opal (also called Precious Opal) is distinguished by its vivid yellow, orange, or red hues, often formed in volcanic environments.

Energetically, Opal is associated with creativity, emotional expression, and inspiration. Fire Opal is especially linked to passion, vitality, and confidence, whereas Common Opal is valued for its gentle, nurturing energy and its connection to intuition and inner reflection.
