Collection: Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla is a hydrous copper silicate, a soft mineral, with a hardness of 2 to 4. It is mostly found in oxidized copper deposits, where it develops in association with other secondary copper minerals such as Malachite, Azurite and Turquoise.

Chrysocolla is often found in botryoidal (grape-like) or massive forms, but it can also form in stalactitic or drusy crystal coatings. Its color ranges from bright blue to green, depending on the copper content. Sometimes impurities can darken its color to brown or black.

Energetically, Chrysocolla is a calming stone associated with communication, emotional healing, and empowerment. It encourages clear self-expression and balances emotions, making it ideal for those facing change. Its energy promotes inner strength, self-awareness, and compassion, supporting both heart and throat chakras.

Some deposits have been found in Chile, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo, Russia and the USA. The ones we have available right now come from the north of Chile and DRC.
