Collection: Karur Amethyst

While Amethyst in general is one of the most popular stones, Amethyst from some parts of the world are even more sought after for their formations and inclusions. Karur in India is one such place.

Amethysts formed here are often smaller in size, but absolutely spectacular in formation. You can find Amethyst in the form of flowers, elestial or cathedral, biterminated, phantoms and scepters in varied range such as the more common mushroom like scepter and also other rarer varieties such as reverse scepter.

Additionally, these scepters form in very distinct patterns from one to another, making each piece quite unique. Many scepters form with perfect terminations on both sides or adjoining together to form complete, perfect scepter flowers. Additionally, these Amethysts, often called "Super 7", come with variety of interesting inclusions, such as Rutile, Goethite, Cacoxenite etc.
