This beautiful stone is a fascinating blend of two copper-based minerals: Chrysocolla (blue-green) and Malachite (vibrant green). Its spiraling patterns and colors come from the interaction of water and copper oxidation over thousands of years.
It is found in copper-rich regions such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Arizona in the United States, and Chile.
Chrysocolla provides calming and nourishing vibrations, encouraging communication and emotional balance. While Malachite is known as the "stone of transformation" as it purifies and transmutes dense, negative energy. It helps with emotional and mental release and protection.
Since it's in its natural state, it has a rougher appearance, with less defined colors and veins than the polished stones. Its appearance is raw, ideal for those who collect authentic and intact minerals as they come directly from the Earth. If you want to enhance its colors, apply a bit of oil (coconut or olive for better results). You can see the photos of this piece with and without oil.
