This Colombian Quartz specimen from Peñas Blancas features a sharply defined tabular crystal with a highly transparent body and crisp, well-developed edges. A prominent faden line runs through its center, clearly visible from both sides and indicative of its interrupted growth history. The prism faces are smooth and lustrous, displaying linear striations that enhance the crystal’s elongated form.
The reverse side reveals a striking series of stepped terminations and internal reflective planes that catch light at different angles, creating a bright, mirror-like effect. Subtle rainbows appear under light due to internal fractures, and minor contact marks are present near the base. Overall, the crystal combines clarity, symmetry, and fine structural detail in a compact and aesthetic form.
