This Colombian Quartz specimen from Peñas Blancas features a sharp, well-formed prismatic crystal with high clarity in the upper half and a milky core near the base. The main termination is symmetrical and glassy, with finely striated prism faces running parallel to the length of the crystal. One of the faces shows mirror-like reflectivity, producing a strong internal contrast with the rest of the crystal. The crystal has a secondary growth at the base, adding dimension and depth to the piece.
